May Day update in Deadlock

A PATCH HAS BEEN RELEASED IN DEADLOCK: NERF TO LIFESTEAL, NEW T4 ITEM AND “WEIGHT LOSS” FOR HEROES

Last night the Deadlock developers released a major update that brought many changes to the game: from adding a new item and reworking existing ones to changing the usual game pace by strengthening guardians and shrines. Many mechanics have been revised in the patch, bugs fixed, and key parameters adjusted. Here are the main changes.

General changes

  • Base health per each boon reduced by 7.

  • The Vitality Investment bonus increased from 8/10/13/17/34/39/44/48/52/56% to 9/12/15/20/38/42/46/50/56/62%.

  • Guardians, Base Guardians and Shrines now have 10% resistance to bullet damage.

  • Bullet resistance of Walkers increased from 15% to 25%.

  • Medic Trooper healing from missing health percentage reduced from 14% to 12%.

  • Soul requirements for boons changed from 13.2k/15k/17k/+2k to 13.2k/14.5k/+1.5k per boon (progress now ends at 40k instead of 49k).

  • Seraphim Wings damage in the air reduced from 60% to 40%.

  • Unstable Concoction now reduces the player’s respawn time by 50%.

  • Ability radius in Street Brawl: For the Street Brawl mode, the radius of the following abilities has been reduced by 15%: Bookwyrm, Flame Dash, Essence Bomb, Entangling Thorns, Lightning Ball, Pulse Grenade,Frost Grenade.

Heroes

  • Bullet damage scaling reduced by 10% for the following heroes: Bebop, Pocket, Vyper.

  • Bullet damage scaling increased by 10% for the following heroes: Mo & Krill, Apollo.

  • Haze: Smoke Bomb scaling from Spirit increased from 0.08 to 0.1. Weapon damage bonus per Fixation stack increased from 0.18 to 0.2.

  • Paradox: Bullet damage increased from 6.42 + 0.242 per boon to 6.8 + 0.26 per boon.

  • Yamato and Viscous: Fixed a bug that caused scaling of the alternate fire not to work recently.

  • Lash: Ground Strike damage scaling from Spirit power increased from 0.9 to 1.1.

  • Shiv: Base bullet resistance increased from 0% to 8%, but health gain per boon has been additionally reduced (on top of the general nerf).

  • Infernus: Flame Dash damage per second increased from 30 to 35.

Items

  • Added a new T4 Vitality item — Indomitable. Upgrades from Reactive Barrier. Automatically removes the next Stun, Root, Immobilize, Sleep, or Silence applied to the player. When triggered, you gain a shield and all your ability cooldowns are reduced by 20%. Item cooldown: 55 s. Passive bonuses: +8% bullet resistance and +8% spirit resistance.

  • Infuser: Active lifesteal reduced from 80% to 70%.

  • Leech: Bonus health increased from 120 to 160. Lifesteal reduced from 30% to 25%.

  • Vampiric Burst: Lifesteal reduced from 16% to 13%. Active lifesteal reduced from 80% to 70%.

  • Shadow Weave: Moved from T4 to T3. Out-of-combat regeneration reduced from 10 to 5. Duration reduced from 18 s to 10 s.

  • Opening Rounds: Weapon damage reduced from +45% to +30%. Now upgrades from High-Velocity Rounds (inherits its stats).

  • Superior Cooldown (T3): Now gives +10% Spirit Resist instead of a flat 100-point shield.

  • Diviner's Statuette (T4): Spirit power increased from +25 to +35.

Map and objectives

  • Central boss: Respawn time reduced by 1 minute. Contesting this objective will now happen more often.

  • Ziplines: Speed boost when jumping onto a cable in your own zone increased from 20% to 25%.

  • Golden statues: Now have a 5% chance to drop a temporary stamina regeneration buff.

Bug fixes

  • Numerous bugs have been fixed, including issues with Quick Cast . Fixed an issue where some abilities did not trigger when Quick Cast was enabled, and a bug where Alt Fire scaling for Yamato and Viscous had recently stopped working.
